Senior Sanitary Engineer

Job Purpose The Senior Sanitary Engineer  is responsible leads the planning, design, and implementation of sanitation and wastewater systems for building and infrastructure projects. This role combines technical expertise with project leadership, ensuring that all sanitary designs meet regulatory standards, sustainability goals, and client expectations. Job Summary Position Title: Senior Sanitary Engineer Reports To: Design Review Manager and Project Coordination Team Leader Duty Station: Addis Ababa Head Office Salary & Benefits: Negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience Duties and Responsibilities Design and oversee sanitary systems, including water supply, drainage, and wastewater treatment designs. Conduct hydraulic calculations and ensure proper sizing of pipelines, pumps, tanks, and fixtures. Lead the design of fire-fighting systems, ensuring compliance with international codes. Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for integrated design delivery. Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Ensure compliance with local and international sanitation regulations. Provide site support and supervision during construction phases. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design standards and process improvements. Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and client presentations. Perform any other relevant tasks as delegated and required by the company.
