Safety Engineer

Be responsible for the daily safety management of the building construction project and ensure compliance with relevant safety laws, regulations, standards, and company policies. Organize and implement site safety inspections, identify potential hazards in a timely manner, and supervise corrective and preventive actions. Prepare, review, and update safety management plans, emergency response plans, and safety operation procedures for the project. Conduct safety education and training for project staff, subcontractors, and workers, including induction training and regular safety briefings. Monitor high-risk operations such as work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, temporary electricity use, excavation, and formwork support systems. Supervise the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that all workers comply with site safety requirements. Participate in safety meetings and coordinate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and relevant departments on safety issues. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare reports, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain and organize safety records, inspection reports, training records, permits, and other related documentation. Assist in establishing a safe and orderly construction environment and promote continuous improvement of the project’s safety performance.
