System Analyst

Job Title: System Analyst 6 Location: Lansing, MI Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced System Analyst 6 with strong expertise in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and system implementation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LIMS platforms and a solid understanding of data and system integrations. Key Responsibilities: Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for complex systems Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and validate system requirements Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design Support data migration activities and system implementation efforts Work closely with technical teams on system integrations and data flow design Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions Provide clear communication and updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in Business/System Analysis Strong experience in requirements elicitation & documentation 8+ years of stakeholder management and communication 8+ years of experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design 8+ years of data migration and system implementation experience Solid understanding of system integrations and data concepts Experience with LIMS platforms such as Clinisys, STARLIMS, or LabWare Additional Requirements: Candidates must be local to Lansing, MI (within 90 miles) at the time of submission – non-negotiable Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Nice to Have: Experience working with government or public sector clients Familiarity with regulatory or laboratory environments
