We are seeking a skilled developer or team to build a Chrome extension and a corresponding backend API. The primary goal of this project is to prevent users from inadvertently sending sensitive information, such as proprietary source code or confidential data, to various AI tools. The extension will act as a gatekeeper, analyzing text input before it is submitted to specified AI platforms.

Key functionalities required:

1.  Chrome Extension Development: Create a robust and user-friendly Chrome extension that can intercept text input in web forms and text areas on popular AI tool websites (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).

2.  Text Analysis: Implement logic within the extension or via the backend API to analyze the content of user prompts for sensitive data. This includes identifying patterns indicative of source code, personally identifiable information (PII), or other confidential terms.

3.  Warning and Blocking Mechanism: The extension should be able to either warn the user about potential sensitive data in their prompt or, if configured, block the submission entirely until the sensitive content is removed or confirmed.

4.  Backend API: Develop a secure and scalable backend API to handle the complex text analysis, data pattern matching, and potentially store configuration settings for sensitive data detection. The API should be efficient and provide quick responses to the extension.

5.  Customization: The solution should ideally allow for future customization of sensitive data patterns and AI tool targets.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Chrome extension development, backend API creation, and a solid understanding of text processing or machine learning techniques for content analysis. Security and performance will be critical considerations for both the extension and the API.
