Senior System & Software Engineer

Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior System & Software Engineer to work with complex embedded systems across the full development lifecycle, from design to implementation. The role involves translating requirements into implemented and verified features, ensuring proper system integration and functional performance.

You will configure and adapt software functions, support programming and parameterization of control units, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across relevant interfaces. You are also expected to contribute to knowledge sharing, support technical decisions, and drive continuous improvements in a dynamic environment with varying timelines.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Familiarity with tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, Diadem, Signalyzer, Engineering Tool, Tech Tool, SE Tool, SW Configurator, or similar
• Background in system design, functional development, and software integration
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
• Knowledge of standards related to Functional Safety and Cyber Security
• Experience working with electrical and electronic architectures, including telematics and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet
• At least five years of professional experience within system and/or software engineering
• Solid understanding of complete vehicle systems and how functions interact
• Practical experience of integrating software within vehicles or comparable systems

It is considered a merit if you have experience with 3D CAD tools such as Creo or Catia, as well as experience from projects in regulated environments or collaboration with public sector organizations.
