SSD Driver
Description
To deliver and collect medical devices to and from SSD and our customers in compliance with the SSD Quality Management System (QMS) and current road transport legislation.
Load and unload instrument trolleys containing medical devices from and to SSD and our hospital sites
To execute daily and weekly vehicle checks and cleaning routines and ensure the trust vehicle is maintained, clean and tidy
Undertake other reasonable duties as necessary, when required by the appropriate Supervisor/Manager
UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.

An ability to concentration ensuring road safety
Knowledge of the area
A clean driving record and a U.K. Driver’s licence
Good customer skills
Being able to work well independently
The ability to remain calm under pressure
Basic knowledge of computers, handheld devices and relevant electronic applications
Good communication skills to follow instructions, work with colleagues and deal with clients
Good eyesight and fitness is required as this is a physical role
