IT Specialist

Contract: 12 Months

We are supporting our customer in Warwick in recruiting an experienced IT Specialist to lead the delivery of a new end-to-end enterprise system that will support compliance with evolving global regulatory requirements, including markets adopting UN Regulation 154.

This role suits someone who is detail-driven yet able to see the bigger picture-combining skills in requirements management, enterprise architecture, stakeholder engagement, system validation, and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of an enterprise IT system enabling full Regulation 154 compliance.

• Ensure all required compliance artefacts are produced through the system.

• Develop a complete set of customer requirements aligned to Regulation 154.

• Build and manage the full project plan covering:

• Requirements development (customer, functional, software)

• Customer test cases

• Test execution

• Production deployment & in-service support

• Collaborate with enterprise architects to create a complete set of functional requirements.

• Agree and manage the software development plan with programming teams.

• Oversee initial system deployment, followed by full production implementation.

• Organise and deliver stakeholder training plans.

• Ensure the delivered system meets relevant cyber and software security standards.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Strong background in enterprise IT system deployment, from concept through to implementation.
• Full lifecycle experience in software delivery (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Excellent planning and scheduling skills, with the ability to build realistic timelines and resource plans.
• Deep understanding of IT systems, architectures, and quality governance.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, TRM).
• Experience in model-based systems engineering (e.g., MSOSA, SysML).
• Strong knowledge of cyber and software security principles.
