As our L&D Administrator, you will be the backbone of our mandatory training function. You’ll focus on the meticulous administration and coordination of training activities that ensure our colleagues have the skills they need to operate safely and legally. From managing our Learning Management System (LMS) to scheduling essential sessions, your work ensures we remain audit-ready and maintain our professional standing. It’s a role that offers real impact; you’ll be helping to promote a culture of compliance across the entire company.
You will be working closely with another L&D Coordinator, sharing the workload and collaborating on projects to ensure high quality of work. This role is hybrid, based at our Snodland office with 2 days in office. Office hours are 8:30 - 17:00.
Main responsibilities:
- Programme Administration: Manage the end-to-end administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) specifically for mandatory courses, including course enrolment, user group setup, and data integrity.
- Scheduling and Delivery: Coordinate and schedule mandatory training sessions (both virtual and in-person) across various departments, managing logistics such as venue booking, trainer availability, and material distribution.
- Compliance Support: Assist with ensuring all training procedures and documentation adhere to internal policies, statutory legal requirements, and the specific standards of external schemes like EUSR.
- Tracking and Reporting: Maintain robust tracking mechanisms to monitor colleague completion rates against required deadlines, and prepare regular compliance reports for review by your manager.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for colleagues regarding mandatory training requirements, deadlines, and technical support related to accessing courses.
- System Support and Audits: Assist with audits of training records, helping to identify compliance gaps and supporting the implementation of remedial training plans, as directed
You'll need: Skills / Qualifications / Experience
- Administrative Experience: Proven experience in a training administration, HR support, or a similar corporate administrative role.
- System Proficienc y: Experience using an LMS or an equivalent database system for data entry and reporting.
- Data Management Skills : Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage datasets and generate reports using spreadsheets.
- Attention to Detail : A high level of accuracy in record-keeping, which is essential for maintaining our audit-ready files.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to clearly explain compliance requirements to a diverse range of colleagues.
- Organisational Mindset : You should enjoy back-end administration and thrive in a role that values routine and meticulous organisation.
