Assistant Technician
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation Support: Help install new HVAC units, ductwork, and components for new projects or system upgrades.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning, filter changes) and assist with diagnosing and fixing faults under supervision.
- Project Documentation: Accurately record all work performed, materials used, and time spent on project-related tasks.
- System Troubleshooting: Aid in identifying electrical or mechanical issues in HVAC systems.
- Technical Assistance: Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to understand project requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, local codes, and industry standards.
- Customer Service: Professionally interact with clients, address concerns, and explain work being done.
- Logistics: Load/unload tools and materials, maintain a clean work area, and keep company vehicles tidy.
