Location: Remote (6–10 AM PST overlap required)
Type: Full-time (Contract)
About the Role
This is a high-ownership operations role working directly with the COO. You will act as a central execution partner—driving projects, managing cross-functional coordination, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
This is not a traditional assistant role. You will operate across strategy and execution, helping scale operations, improve systems, and support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Execution
- Drive day-to-day execution across multiple projects
- Track tasks, deadlines, and ensure accountability across teams
- Identify bottlenecks and resolve blockers quickly
2. Project Management
- Build and manage centralized project tracking systems
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, supply chain, finance)
- Provide weekly status updates and progress reports
3. Financial & Data Analysis
- Track KPIs and maintain dashboards
- Support financial analysis (P&L, unit economics, margins)
- Identify trends, issues, and opportunities through data
4. Process & Systems Building
- Create scalable systems and workflows
- Automate repetitive tasks where possible
- Improve operational efficiency across teams
5. Operational Coordination
- Support vendor coordination and follow-ups
- Assist in logistics, procurement, and supply chain processes
- Prepare summaries, reports, and action plans for leadership
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 3–7+ years in operations, business operations, consulting, or similar roles
- Experience managing cross-functional projects
- Background in fast-paced or high-growth environments preferred
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and execution ability
- Solid understanding of business metrics (KPIs, margins, unit economics)
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Experience with project management tools (Notion, Asana, ClickUp, etc.)
- Clear and concise communication
Mindset
