Software Engineer (Java/Kafka) - SC Cleared - Remote
Rate: £550 per day
Duration: 6 months extendable
Location: Remote - Occasional travel to London

The role:
A leading Central Government Institution are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Java/Kafka), to join a high-profile project.
This is an initial 6-month contract, Inside IR35 and requiring active SC Clearance.
Skills / Experience Requirements:
- Java,
- Java Spring,
- Kafka,
- Kubernetes,
- Docker
Desirable:
- MQ Series
- Postgres, Redis or time-series Databases Experience working with AWS and Hybrid Cloud
- Experience working with Confluent and/or MKS
- Experience working with Data Replication/Event Streaming/Distributed Data/Data Archival
- Experience working on various Data Standards, conversion and quality like EDIFACT, XML, JSON
