Rate: £550 per day

Duration: 6 months extendable

Location: Remote - Occasional travel to London

The role:

A leading Central Government Institution are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Java/Kafka), to join a high-profile project.

This is an initial 6-month contract, Inside IR35 and requiring active SC Clearance.

Skills / Experience Requirements:

• Java,
• Java Spring,
• Kafka,
• Kubernetes,
• Docker

Desirable:

• MQ Series
• Postgres, Redis or time-series Databases Experience working with AWS and Hybrid Cloud
• Experience working with Confluent and/or MKS
• Experience working with Data Replication/Event Streaming/Distributed Data/Data Archival
• Experience working on various Data Standards, conversion and quality like EDIFACT, XML, JSON
