Early Careers Assistant
Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Early Careers Assistant to join the team on an FTC basis until June 2027.
This is a new role in their London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will provide recruitment and development support.
Responsibilities will include:
- Screening application via ATS.
- Assisting with the organisation of Early Careers events and programmes and coordinating bookings and travel.
- Coordinating room bookings and scheduling interviews.
- Collecting and collating feedback, sending offer letters, as necessary.
- Managing candidate administration.
- Building and maintaining relationships with law societies and university careers services.
- Managing the onboarding processes and tracking trainee development.
- Attending UK law fairs, early Careers events, and recruitment events.
- Updating the future trainee database, administering law school fee payments, and maintaining trainee employee records.
- Planning and coordinating future trainee events.
- Drafting and issuing letters, leave requests, and salary amendments.
- Managing the invoice and expense process within the Early Careers team.

Suitable candidates will have gained prior recruitment or HR experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking applicants with exemplary communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and organisation skills. Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Careers market is highly desired.
