I'm supporting a Public Sector organisation with an Interim Senior HR Business Partner role in Nottingham City Centre.This role blends strategic partnering with hands-on delivery, working closely with school leaders through a period of significant change. The ideal candidate would need to have HR experience in Education.

I'm supporting a Public Sector organisation with an Interim Senior HR Business Partner role. The position involves providing senior people support during a period of change, partnering with leaders across the organisation, and overseeing a mix of strategic and hands-on HR work. It's a 3-6 month assignment with 2-3 days on-site in Nottingham, and requires someone with strong experience working within a schools environment.

Description

  • Partnering with Headteachers, School Business Managers and Governors
  • Leading senior HR advice across the full employee lifecycle
  • Managing complex casework (disciplinary, grievance, sickness)
  • Supporting restructures, workforce planning & senior recruitment
  • Ensuring compliance, safeguarding risk and embedding best practice
  • Contributing to people strategy while remaining hands-on operationally

Profile

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic HR partnering and practical delivery, and who understands the fast-paced, stakeholder-heavy demands of a schools environment.
