Description

• Assist with the preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid decision-making.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
• Assist with end-of-month and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Manage invoices, payments, and other transactional finance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency within the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Relevant qualifications or ongoing study in Accounting or Finance (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• An understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
