A growing and well-established business in Burnham is looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team on a 6 month contract to play a key role in supporting financial decision making and improving the accounts payable processes.

You will play a key part in helping the business through substantial future growth, with the opportunity to get involved in a variety of tasks.

The Accounts Payable Specialist Role

As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, maintaining internal controls, and delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders. • End-to-end processing of supplier invoices
• Managing supplier queries and building strong relationships
• Preparing and processing payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Supporting month-end close activities
