Job Advert Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Order Clerk for a full-time, onsite position based in Potchefstroom. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations and enhancing customer satisfaction through efficient order management. Minimum Requirements Matric/ Grade 12 certificate At least 1 Year experience in Marketing/Sales Administration. Must be computer literate Understanding of the Sales Value Chain & Internal Systems Admin efficiency Communication Skills. Duties and Responsibilities Key performance areas (Duties and Responsibilities): Receive orders from customers Maintain a proper documentation control process to ensure all customer orders are accurately captured. Manage and file customer order confirmations Address all issues received from customers and generate customer complaints when necessary. Update the Sales Order in Syspro. Ensure that any changes to customers orders, such as delivery date modifications, cancellations. Communicate all issues prohibiting order updates in systems with the Head Office Debtors administrator Products descriptions Ensure that all the required information is submitted for each request Maintain a proper filing system Attend to all customer calls and ensure that related data is updated in the systems. Forward any issues to other departments. Follow up with the customer to ensure that the issue was resolved Stand in when other sales admin staff are absent Partake in weekly stock counts Review all open orders daily and ensure that orders are captured on the planning systems
