As a Merchandising Consultant, you will define and execute a technical plan to support assigned product lines, utilizing market analysis to craft assortment and pricing strategy. You will drive the top and bottom line, optimizing all aspects of the portfolio P&L by delivering smart assortment, creating continual channel improvements and delivering the best customer experience. You will: Creating the business vision and driving the product strategy across the region for the stock and sell business Drive the top and bottom line and optimizing all the aspects of the portfolio P&L by delivering a balanced assortment, driving channel improvements and delivering the best customer experience Owning the product strategy for the region and providing feedback to product teams on future requirements Engage with key alliance partners and drive regional engagements Be the product evangelist for the region and participate in distributor and reseller enablement activities Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate with sales, finance, marketing, product management and leadership teams Technology acumen - understanding of the PC industry, including key technologies, major competitors, product and industry trends, markets and typical marketing practices, product positioning and other related product and marketing experience Financial acumen - strong understanding of product/brand P&L's would be essential Effective in influencing cross-functional teams Desirable Requirements Education background in Business and/or Marketing; MBA strongly preferred Advanced analytical ability
