Technical Assistant to the Managing Director
Description
Job Objective The Technical Assistant to the Managing Director will provide high-level technical, analytical, and administrative support to the MD, ensuring effective execution of strategic initiatives, efficient coordination of activities, and seamless day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Executive & Strategic Support: Provide direct support to the MD on strategic initiatives and business priorities Assist in tracking and driving execution of key projects across the organization Conduct research and prepare briefing notes, reports, and presentations Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze business data and generate insights to support decision-making Prepare dashboards, reports, and performance tracking documents Monitor key business metrics and follow up on action points Coordination & Follow-Up: Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks Follow up on action items from meetings and ensure closure Coordinate cross-functional projects and communications Documentation & Communication: Prepare high-quality presentations, memos, and executive summaries Support in drafting internal and external communications Maintain proper documentation of key business activities Operational Support: Assist in managing the MD’s schedule, meetings, and priorities Support in organizing meetings, including agenda preparation and minutes taking Handle ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by the MD Key Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field 2–5 years experience in a similar role (e.g., Executive Assistant, Analyst, or Strategy role) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment Preferred Skills: Experience in financial services or consulting Strong presentation and data visualization skills Ability to think strategically and execute effectively Competencies: Attention to detail Proactiveness and initiative Strong interpersonal skills Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
