About The Role Sulzer Chemtech’s Mass Transfer Components & Services (MTCS) division delivers advanced solutions that support refineries, petrochemical plants, renewables, bio‑based industries, and oil & gas operators worldwide. We are expanding our footprint in West Africa—and we’re looking for a technically driven, commercially sharp Regional Sales Manager to help us grow. As the Regional Sales Manager

  • MTCS, you will be the face of Sulzer Chemtech for customers across Nigeria and West Africa. This role blends technical expertise with strong business acumen. You’ll engage directly with engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership teams to understand process challenges, propose tailored solutions, and drive profitable long‑term partnerships. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high‑impact region, shape market strategy, and work closely with global experts in mass transfer and separation technology. Key Responsibilities Customer & Market Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Conduct regular site visits and technical discussions to understand operational challenges. Position Sulzer Chemtech as a trusted technical advisor in the region. Business Development Identify and develop new opportunities across refineries, petrochemical plants, gas processing facilities, and bio‑based industries. Grow the sales pipeline and deliver sustainable business results. Technical & Commercial Activities Evaluate inquiries, analyse process data, and develop cost‑effective technical solutions. Prepare accurate proposals, cost estimations, and techno‑commercial presentations. Manage the full tendering process including clarifications, negotiations, and contract finalisation. What You’ll Bring Education A degree in Chemical Engineering or related Process Engineering field (beneficial). Experience Operational plants: process engineering, revamp projects, operations support in refineries, petrochemicals, gas processing, or chemical/biobased plants. Technology/service providers or EPCs: technical sales, proposal engineering, or project development. A blended background across both plant operations and technology providers is highly valued. Technical Skills Strong understanding of separation technologies, mass transfer equipment, and mixing technologies. Ability to interpret PFDs, P&IDs, and process data to deliver optimised solutions. Experience preparing tenders, proposals, and engaging in CAPEX project development. Soft Skills & Competencies Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities. Commercial awareness and negotiation skills. High level of organisation, independence, and initiative. Customer‑centric mindset and collaborative spirit. Other Requirements Willingness to travel frequently across Nigeria and West Africa. Fluent English (additional regional languages advantageous). Valid driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain).
