Job Summary This role extends beyond traditional HR, encompassing company-wide KPI management, statutory compliance, and employee relations to drive operational efficiency and a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will combine strong HR expertise with business acumen to support sustainable organizational growth. Key Responsibilities Own the full recruitment lifecycle from job requisition and candidate screening through to offer, onboarding, and statutory registration (PFA, HMO, NSITF, ITF) ensuring every new hire is operational from day one. Design and implement the company's performance management framework, ensuring every role has clearly defined, SMART KPIs agreed at the start of each performance cycle. Coordinate the quarterly KPI review process across all departments preparing review templates, briefing line managers, consolidating scores, and presenting a company-wide performance dashboard to the MD. Identify underperformance early and work with line managers to develop, implement, and monitor performance improvement plans (PIPs) to resolution. Ensure full compliance with all applicable Nigerian employment legislation, including the Labour Act, Pension Reform Act, Employees' Compensation Act, National Health Insurance Act, and ITF Act. Oversee timely remittance of all statutory employer obligations, PFA contributions, NSITF premiums, ITF levies, and PAYE; to the relevant authorities in Lagos and Abuja. Maintain legally sound employment contracts, HR policies, and offer letters that reflect current statutory requirements, including minimum wage compliance. Manage the monthly payroll process in coordination with Finance verifying headcount, approving changes, reviewing payroll output, and ensuring accurate PAYE deductions before payment. Administer all employee benefits - HMO enrolment, group life insurance, pension reconciliation, and staff welfare schemes ensuring accuracy and timely renewal. Produce a monthly HR dashboard for the MD covering headcount, attrition, open vacancies, training hours, KPI completion rates, disciplinary cases, and payroll cost as a percentage of revenue. Qualifications & Expertise Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or MSc HRM is an advantage. 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a standalone HR Manager role. Full or Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) is required. Proven experience deg and operating a KPI and performance management framework from the ground up. Deep practical knowledge of Nigerian employment law, PENCOM, NSITF, ITF, PAYE, and HMO administration. Experience in FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods is strongly preferred.
