Financial Accountant

Job Summary We are recruiting a detail-driven Financial Accountant to manage financial reporting and support the day-to-day accounting operations of a real estate company. Role Overview The Financial Accountant oversees financial reporting, maintains accurate accounting records, and ensures compliance with statutory and regulatory standards while supporting business operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy Manage accounts payable and receivable processes Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements (VAT, PAYE) Monitor and report on cash flow, budgets, and financial performance Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (real estate experience is an advantage) Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software. Good understanding of Nigerian tax laws and compliance requirements.
