Job Description The Finance Officer will assist in managing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial strategies that align with the company’s goals. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in developing and overseeing financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Budget Management: Manage the preparation and implementation of budgets. Monitor and report on budget variances, providing recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of financial resources. Financial Reporting: Preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including board members and investors. Assist in developing and maintaining financial reporting systems and processes. Cash Flow Management and Treasury: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements to optimize cash management, liquidity management, and treasury operations. Receivables & payables management and ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and company policies. Assist in developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets. Identify and mitigate financial risks by conducting regular risk assessments. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a track record of progressively responsible roles. ACA/CFA certification is compulsory Adequate knowledge of QuickBooks or similar software Extensive experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and financial reporting. Skills and Ability: Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills. Proficient in financial management software and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities with little or no supervision.
