About the job The Lagos Food Bank Initiative is seeking an experienced Inventory/Warehouse Officer to oversee stock management, streamline warehouse operations, and ensure timely and accurate distribution of food supplies to meet our program needs. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of food items and supplies Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment Ensure proper storage conditions in line with food safety standards Supervise warehouse staff and volunteers where necessary Prepare inventory reports and provide insights for operational planning Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety regulations Requirements: Proven experience as an Inventory/ Warehouse Officer (minimum 2–3 years) Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices High level of accuracy and attention to detail Good organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools Must reside within close proximity to the warehouse
