Description

Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of category plans aligned with sales and growth targets. Manage assigned product categories, including SKU prioritization and crop focus strategies. Track product and category performance, recommending corrective actions where required. Support product lifecycle activities including new product launches and portfolio optimization. Coordinate go-to-market initiatives such as product positioning, pricing support, and promotional execution. Work closely with Sales teams to ensure product availability and effective distribution across territories. Support trade promotions, farmer activations, field demonstrations, and seasonal campaigns. Conduct market and competitive analysis on pricing, formulations, pack sizes, and promotional activities. Gather and analyze market data to support pricing decisions and portfolio optimization. Prepare weekly and monthly category performance reports and support management reviews. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Marketing, or related field (minimum of Second Class Upper). 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, category management, sales operations, or commercial roles. Experience in agrochemicals or FMCG is an added advantage. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Commercial and market-oriented mindset with good understanding of crop cycles and farming systems. Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
