Cyber Security Analyst

Job Responsibilities Continuously monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls). Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, unauthorized access, and phishing attempts. Conduct root cause analysis of security breaches and recommend remediation strategies. Perform regular vulnerability assessments and collaborate with relevant teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities. Track and report on the status of vulnerability remediation efforts. Maintain and optimize security tools, including antivirus software, endpoint protection, and network security devices. Assist in the deployment and configuration of security technologies. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures. Participate in security audits and assessments. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies. Analyze threat intelligence data to identify potential risks to the organization and provide recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture. Promote best practices for data protection and cybersecurity within the organization. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity. Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools and incident response. Knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and endpoint security CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CompTIA CySA+. Excellent understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCIDSS). Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
