Business Support Executive – Operation

Job Summary We are looking to hire a Business Support Executive who will provide operational and commercial support to the Operations Group by ensuring efficient order processing, regulatory compliance, and shipment logistics coordination. The role is critical to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the achievement of the company’s strategic goals and objectives. Job Description Process approved customer orders with suppliers, ensuring accuracy of specifications and timely shipment within agreed timelines. Manage Letters of Credit transactions, including documentation and compliance requirements. Handle import documentation, clearing permits, and statutory regulatory requirements for shipment and clearance of goods. Liaise with regulatory bodies and relevant authorities to facilitate seamless import processes. Receive consignments and verify them against packing lists and shipping documents. Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve or escalate issues as necessary. Escalate unresolved operational issues to the Line Manager in a timely manner. Prepare and submit required reports within stipulated deadlines. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager in alignment with the Company’s strategic objectives. Requirements Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or HND (Minimum of Second Class Upper or Upper Credit) in Natural or Applied Sciences. Working Experience: Minimum of four (4) years relevant work experience in: A laboratory environment (Analyst or Laboratory Technologist), or Sales/technical support for science and laboratory equipment Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications Strong report writing and documentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good understanding of importation processes and regulatory compliance Ability to multitask XXXX XXXX time effectively Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset Willingness and ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
