You have a strong eye for detail and a passion for numbers, finance, and efficient systems. You enjoy finding smarter ways to manage financial operations and reporting, are comfortable collaborating with diverse, distributed teams, and consistently take initiative to deliver results. You may have experience managing finances and budgets within the not-for-profit sector as this would be a strong advantage. You are now seeking a challenge that will further develop your financial expertise and advance your career. The successful candidate will work as part of a multinational and multilingual team using digital collaboration tools to create content for a global audience and international media partners. Required : minimum requirements include: A certificate, diploma, or degree in Accounting or Finance At least 3 years of relevant bookkeeping or financial management experience Demonstrable financial management and recordkeeping skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision Strong decision-making skills and keen attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Proficiency in remote cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace and Slack Working knowledge of financial management tools such as Xero and ApprovalMax The ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment distributed across Africa Preferred : candidates who are able to demonstrate the following will have an advantage: Experience in financial management within the not-for-profit or media sector Familiarity with grant reporting and donor financial compliance Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment Proficiency in French, Arabic, or other African languages
