Job Objectives Ensure accurate processing of accounts payable transactions and vendor reconciliations. Maintain an organized filing and archiving system for financial and administrative documents. Support financial operations through timely reporting, reconciliation, and administrative tasks. Duties and Responsibilities Accounting Responsibilities: File, organize, and archive accounting and administrative documents in accordance with company policies. Reconcile vendor accounts and follow up on outstanding balances. Manage the accounts payable process, including reviewing and releasing batches. Assist with invoice and payment processing, ensuring adherence to internal controls. Run accounting reports as required. Assist with processing employee time and expense reports. Support month-end closing activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Administrative Responsibilities: Ensure proper document control, including scanning, indexing, and archiving. Maintain vendor files and support vendor onboarding documentation. Provide administrative support to the finance department. Handle internal and external inquiries related to AP and administrative matters. Support internal and external audit requests by preparing required documents. Other Responsibilities: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies. Report near misses and risk observations objectively and accurately. Comply with company security, safety, and environmental standards. Participate in team meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 1 - 3 years of experience in accounting support, administrative functions, or accounts payable. Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management tools. Knowledge and Skills Required: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling financial information.
