Description
Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements Monitor daily revenue from advert sales, sponsorships, and other income streams Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow Process invoices, payments, and payroll Track advert bookings and ensure proper billing and revenue recognition Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Develop and manage budgets for departments and programs Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies Implement and maintain internal financial controls. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage Minimum of 3–5 years accounting experience (media industry experience preferred) Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
