UWCSEA is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Tennis Coach to join its Dover Campus from August 2026. The Phoenix Tennis Coach is a key member of the Phoenix Coaching team responsible for assisting and supporting the coaching team in the design and delivery of the entire tennis programme including the Competitive Team Tennis, Phoenix Squad, development, junior school programmes, adult programmes and private lessons. Main Responsibilities COMPETITION COACHING Working closely with the Head of active for life with the coaching of school teams (U11, U14, U19) and Phoenix squads. Contribute towards the yearly plan, subsequent seasonal, weekly and daily lesson plans. Involvement in planning and running competitions for our school team players and phoenix squads. Involved in assessment and feedback of all competitive players - including physical, mental, technical and tactical, providing a learning pathway and consistent feedback to players and parents throughout the year. Travel with students both locally and overseas for school team competitions, invitational events, and international tennis camps. DEVELOPMENT COACHING assist with developing the yearly plan, subsequent seasonal, weekly and daily lesson plans for all development coaching to ensure a smooth transition of tennis players from the mini and junior development programme into the competitive tennis team. Involved in developing an assessment tool and regular feedback for development players. Able to lead red ball and development lessons( orange to yellow) with support from the coaching team. Able to coach adult lessons with support from the coaching team. Leading assistant coaches, to ensure they are maintaining a high level of coaching. Conduct coaching during term holiday courses. Adult coaching including ladies teams, cardio tennis, development coaching and tournaments. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with maintaining the tennis court facilities and equipment Assist with any other duties, tasks or jobs with similar levels of responsibility and complexity to the assigned job grade as may be reasonably requested by the line manager and/or the College Person Specifications Tennis qualifications- USPTA, ITF, RPT or equivalent with experience in development and competitive coaching Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
