Employment Type: 1-Year Contract Location: Singapore Working Hours: Office hours, with occasional weekends required About the Role My client is looking for an Education Officer to support the planning and execution of educational programmes within a museum environment. This role involves coordinating school visits, managing programme logistics, and contributing to the development of educational content for public engagement. You will work closely with the education team to deliver meaningful learning experiences for students and the public, while ensuring smooth day-to-day programme operations. Key Responsibilities
- Educational Programme Management Coordinate and manage school visits for museum-based learning programmes Handle bookings via online portals, email, and phone enquiries Liaise with schools and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner Conduct briefings for large student groups and manage crowd control during peak periods Prepare and coordinate logistics, including learning materials and operational support Monitor and manage programme resources, including stock-taking and procurement Update programme SOPs and guidelines where required Track and compile programme statistics and key performance indicators
- Workshops, Programmes & Exhibitions Support Coordinate logistics and equipment for workshops and programmes (onsite and virtual) Support the execution of educational workshops and public programmes Assist in research and content development for educational initiatives (e.g. early childhood, school programmes, accessibility programmes) Support the dissemination of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and resource kits Assist in maintaining exhibition and learning spaces Provide administrative and operational support as required Requirements Diploma or Degree (preferred) in Arts Management, Education, History, or related fields Prior experience in education programmes, events coordination, or museum/gallery settings is an advantage Entry Level applicants with relevant interest are welcome to apply Skills & Competencies Ability to manage and engage large groups (up to 100+ participants) Confident in delivering briefings in a clear and professional manner Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills (high volume of email coordination) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure Team player, able to work effectively in small teams Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Outlook, and online systems Why Join This Role?
