Description

Providing software application support under the supervision of the Senior Engineer. Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements. Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications. Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance. Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality. Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns to the Senior Engineer. Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates. Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics. Providing front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments. Regular updates and validation of Application system flows. Pro-actively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks and identify possible solutions. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware, OS and, software faults. Maintains historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions. Maintains production system capability by testing and monitoring its components. On requirement basis perform OS or SW patching/upgrade tasks. Backup and recovery operation task XXXX XXXX support for application and OS issues.
