Key Responsibilities Technical Presales Engagement Partner with enterprise account executives as the dedicated presales consultant across the full sales cycle — from qualification to technical closure Lead discovery conversations with customer IT teams, storage engineers, data architects, and senior technology leaders Deliver tailored solution presentations, product demonstrations, and architecture overviews aligned to customer outcomes Position and articulate business value of data storage and AI-ready solutions against competing alternatives Own the technical win — drive customer confidence and preference before deal closure Solution Design & Proposal Development Design high-level and detailed solutions for enterprise data storage across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid architectures Produce technically accurate proposals, solution briefs, BOM, and architecture documentation Develop TCO / ROI analyses to support commercial decision-making Collaborate with product, engineering, and professional services to ensure proposed solutions are deliverable Proof of Concept (PoC) & Technical Evaluation Plan and lead end-to-end PoC engagements — success criteria definition, setup, test execution, and results presentation Conduct hands-on demonstrations of data storage platforms and AI-ready infrastructure Address and resolve technical objections raised during customer evaluations Produce clear PoC outcome reports with results, recommendations, and next steps RFP / RFI & Customer Advisory Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and enterprise/government tenders Ensure technical accuracy, differentiation, and compliance in all bid documents Act as a trusted technical advisor — building long-term relationships beyond individual transactions Conduct technology briefings and infrastructure roadmap discussions with key accounts Required Qualifications Presales Experience Minimum 8 years of dedicated presales experience in enterprise IT, majority focused on data storage Proven track record of technically supporting and closing enterprise Experience engaging enterprise and mid-market customers across Singapore and/or Southeast Asia Strong history of leading PoC engagements and delivering proposals that have directly contributed to deal wins Enterprise Data Storage Deep knowledge of SAN, NAS, object storage, all-flash arrays, and hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) Presales experience with: NetApp, Dell EMC (PowerStore, PowerScale, PowerMax), Pure Storage, HPE Alletra, IBM Storage, Hitachi Vantara Storage protocols: NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, FCoE, S3-compatible object storage Data management: replication, deduplication, compression, auto-tiering, and disaster recovery solutions Understanding of software-defined storage (SDS) and cloud-native storage technologies Cloud & Hybrid Architecture Hybrid/multi-cloud storage strategies integrating on-premises with AWS, Azure, and GCP Cloud-native storage services: AWS S3/FSx, Azure NetApp Files, Google Cloud Filest
