Software Tester (Cards Domain)

Key Responsibilities Analyze business and functional requirements related to banking/card systems. Design, write, and execute test cases based on requirements and user stories. Test card-based applications involving credit cards and debit cards. Verify transaction flows across payment systems and ensure data integrity. Identify, log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues. Participate in test planning, test execution, and reporting activities. Support UAT cycles and production validation when required. Requirements 2–3 years of experience in software testing. Basic understanding of the banking domain, especially card products (credit/debit cards). Familiarity with card lifecycle processes: issuance, activation, transactions, settlements, disputes, and chargebacks. Awareness of payment networks (e.g., Visa, MasterCard). Understanding of card processing systems like SICS or similar platforms is a plus. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance related to card payments.
