Accountant (Contract)

My client (US Company) is looking for someone with full set accounting and US GAAP experience to support finance manager on daily accounting tasks, monthly financial report, variance analysis and company finance matters. This is a contract role for 9 months basis. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Day-to-day duties and operations of the accounts department • Management of capital and fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivables • Preparation of IRAS GST submission and General Ledger accounting • Liaising with finance software vendor for maintenance and applications • Prepare revenue and expenditure variance analysis for management • Prepares weekly and monthly financial reports, year-end closing, and annual audits • Oversee internal control function and administration of financial policy • Oversees stock entries and monthly stock-take • Treasury Reporting and in charge of vendor Payment • Handle full set of accounts to monitor revenue and expenditure transactions. • Responsible for the preparation of audit reports for submission • Coordinate the annual filing of statutory corporate documents with ACRA • Assists in the preparation of annual Corporate tax return with external tax consultant • Provide support and assistance for general administrative, finance and other general HR support as needed • Perform billings to customers, generate weekly sales report, management of claims in Concur System, prepare monthly bank reconciliation JOB REQUIREMENTS •Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting. • With 5 years related experience and/or in full set Accounting, financial planning and analysis. Experience in Exchequer is preferred. US GAAP experience a must. •Team player with positive working attitude and willingness to learn •Ability to work independently and has good time management
