Job Scope As a Community Engagement Assistant Manager/Manager, there will be 2 tracks of work responsibilities for you. Engagement: You will work closely with the Community Engagement Team to provide support for community engagement initiatives (i.e. events planning and management, marketing, and content curation, etc) as part of the client's community engagement efforts. Facilitate preparation of Community engagement events, which include events logistics and marketing. Run Community engagement events independently. Manage stakeholders to co-curate content for Community initiatives. Compose promotional materials to broadcast Community initiatives through various channels such as electronic mailers, social media, etc. Maintain Community membership database and perform regular data analysis. Support with other Community initiatives, beyond events. Content: You will regularly engage with internal and external stakeholders to draft original content and optimise existing content as part of client's community engagement efforts. Comprehend and reinterpret technical content into engaging narratives for a diversity of tech target audiences. Understand SEO best practices well and draft content that are SEO-friendly. Plan content strategy and write for a variety of digital channels and platforms Excellent stakeholder management skills when engaging and collaborating with different stakeholders such as product teams, designers, and corporate marketing teams for content creation. Have an open mindset towards receiving feedback and agility in incorporating them within tight timelines. Proactive in researching and staying abreast of industry trends to bring in fresh content ideas. Requirements A Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Communications, Events Management or other related disciplines. 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in the tech industry, or similar. Keen to learn technical concepts. Experience in MICE events planning/logistics and expertise in setting up and running AV operations. Basic proficiency in design tools and photo/video editing software (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite). Experience in analysing excel data. Familiar with SEO best practices and SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics and Ahrefs). Familiar with SEO performance measurement tools such as Google Search Console. Excellent writing and communication skills; with a keen eye for detail and interest for technology. Solid understanding of information hierarchies and content strategy. Submit 3 samples of past publications, personal blogs, or reports etc that you have authored along with your application. Preferred: Experience or familiarity with the development process is a plus. Experience in producing SEO and website performance reports and data analysis.
