The Role As Manager, Client Solutions you will support the Head of Protection, India in achieving our new business plan and in managing how we are perceived by our Protection clients in the India market. You will help to manage client relationships– forming deep relationships across the business, developing in-depth knowledge of our clients’ needs as well finding creative ways to tackle challenges. Supporting client relationships includes setting client strategies and working collaboratively with others to execute these strategies. As part of the role you support the negotiation and implementation of new treaties within our business. You will also be a significant contributor to the co-ordination of client work across all Pacific Life Re departments and manage client communications. Maintain accurate and up to date information on client contact, opportunities, actions and treaty work in our CRM system is expected for all client facing roles. Drive forward ad-hoc initiatives that improve the way we work and the service we provide to clients. Duties Client Management Support the management of existing client relationships for their client portfolio through client meetings, presentations and identifying gaps and opportunities for new relationships; Work with the Head of Protection, India and all relevant teams across PL Re to ensure high service standards are maintained in relation to client queries and requests; Supporting the Head of Protection, India to produce timely, high quality responses to client invitations to tender for their client portfolio and to ensure the Quote Process is adhered to; Promote PL Re through presentations and attendance at industry conferences. Business Management & Implementation Liaise and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders including the Protection Pricing, Underwriting and Claims Directors. Support business implementation projects with the Operations & Corporate Actuarial teams, including the implementation and handover of new Protection treaties and addenda. Take ownership of the quarterly new business MI, leading discussions with the Operations team on the data received by clients and discussing variations with the wider BD team to understand the movements. Update the quarterly protection market overview based on ABI data and provide commentary on key changes for the wider team. Support the Protection Business planning and budgeting process, working with the Head of Protection, India. Innovation & Technical Perception Support the India Market Leadership team in the implementation of new project initiatives. Challenge current client meeting content and support improvements across general quality, technical detail and communication, to help us continue to stand out in the market. Work with internal stakeholders to take advantage of existing technical work and ensure knowledge isn’t lost that may beneficial in client communication.
