By reimagining cars as mobile living spaces, XG Tech aligns with the evolving trend of vehicles becoming the “third living space.” Role Summary As a SoC & Multimedia Software Engineer, you will develop and optimize system-level software for Android/Linux platforms, working at the intersection of hardware and software. You’ll play a key role in building high-performance multimedia and compute solutions across areas such as display, audio, video, camera, GPU, and NPU. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and debug system software across Android/Linux stacks Work on one or more domains: Display, Audio, Video, Camera HAL, GPU, or NPU Translate product requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and system teams to bring up and optimize features Analyze and resolve complex issues across kernel, drivers, and user space Optimize system performance, power efficiency, and latency How you will stand out Bachelors Degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field. At least 2 years of development experience in at least one multimedia or compute domain (e.g., audio, video, camera, GPU/NPU) Deep understanding of Linux or Android internals (kernel, drivers, HAL, frameworks) Proven ability to debug and optimize across hardware–software boundaries Prior experience in automotive cockpit-related projects is preferred.
