Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities 1. Site Compliance Management : • Act as the primary compliance contact for the production site. • Support the implementation and adherence to corporate compliance policies, standards and procedures at site level. • Monitor compliance risks and support mitigation actions in coordination with site management. 2. Policies, Standards & Awareness : • Support the rollout and local application of compliance-related policies (e.g. Code of Conduct, anti-corruption, data protection, conflict of interest). • Promote compliance awareness and ethical behaviour across the site. • Support and coordinate compliance communication and awareness activities. 3. Training & Communication : • Coordinate and support compliance-related training activities at site level (e.g. Code of Conduct, mandatory compliance trainings). • Ensure completion tracking and documentation in line with corporate requirements. • Act as a local point of contact for employee questions related to compliance topics. 4. Risk Management & Reporting : • Support identification and assessment of site-specific compliance risks. • Assist in handling compliance incidents, concerns and questions in coordination with Global / Regional Compliance. • Support documentation, reporting and follow-up actions related to compliance matters. 5. Audits & Reviews : • Support internal and external audits, inspections and assessments related to compliance topics at site level. • Ensure availability of required documentation and local follow-up on findings or corrective actions. 6. Interface & Collaboration : • Work closely with site management, HR, Quality, EHS and other relevant functions. • Coordinate with Global / Regional Compliance to ensure alignment and consistency. • Support a constructive, transparent relationship with employee representatives where applicable. Key Requirements / Competencies • Solid understanding of compliance principles in an industrial or regulated environment. • Experience working with policies, procedures and governance frameworks. • Ability to assess risks, follow structured processes and manage documentation. • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain compliance topics in a clear, practical way. • Integrity, discretion and sound judgement. • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with site leadership and central functions. • Fluent in English. • Strict adherence to confidentiality and data protection required. Qualification & Experience • University degree or equivalent professional qualification, preferably in Law or a related field. • Several years of experience in compliance, quality, HR, legal, EHS or a related function, preferably in a production or Pharmaceutical/MedTech environment. • Experience in a coordination or management role is an advantage.
