Multotec (posted via TsaMmereko) is seeking to appoint a SENIOR SALES ENGINEER. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth by providing technical sales expertise, developing strategic customer relationships, and delivering engineered solutions that meet client operational needs. The role integrates commercial acumen with technical knowledge to expand market share and ensure long-term customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Retention of existing business, drive achievement of monthly sales targets through strategic prospecting and effective account management. Expand market share by securing new business and growing existing customer accounts. Deliver responsive, professional support to customers, ensuring timely resolution of queries and technical concerns. Promote high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement, clear communication, and consistent service excellence. Develop appropriate engineering solutions aligned to customer requirements. Prepare technical proposals, costings, and presentations that meet company and client standards. Support strategic sales initiatives and product positioning to strengthen competitive advantage. Contribute to strategic sales planning and effective product positioning to enhance market presence. Requirements Strong engineering expertise with sound commercial and business acumen. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strategic, results-driven problem solver with strong analytical ability and a proactive, customer-focused mindset with fair knowledge of the African market share. Proficient in MS Office packages and JDE would be advantageous. Degree in Metallurgical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering. At least 5 years relevant experience within a mining/plant environment. Sales experience and knowledge of Multotec Products is a definite advantage.
