Job Title: SENIOR MECHANICAL DRAUGHTSMAN
Role Purpose: A Francistown based manufacturing company requires the services of a skilled and dynamic Mechanical Draughtsman. Key Responsibilities Experience in the design of vehicle Electrical systems Experience in the design of advanced Hydraulic systems Experience in estimating, extracting bills of materials from drawings. Estimating costs based on Bills of materials Must be well versed in the compilation of technical documents such as operational Manuals, Risk assessment and spare parts manuals. Requirements Must be a holder of Technician Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing) Must have more than 13 years post graduate experience in manufacturing underground utility vehicles. Having National certificate in draughting or Engineering computer aided draughting is an added advantage. Must have a thorough understanding and use of ALL of the following computer software's: AUTO DESK PRODUCTS (Inventor fusion, Inventor finite Element Analysis, Auto CAD Mechanical, Product design suite), Microsoft office including PowerPoint presentation Experience with welding and welding procedures Thorough understanding of machining, tolerances, and machine surface finishes Experience in drawing office management and quality systems Must hold class B drivers licence or similar. Must be prepared to travel regionally Salary A competitive salary is on offer.
