Job Title: Senior Lead, IT Infrastructure (Windows)

Role Overview: The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing virtualized and physical environments, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance while supporting infrastructure projects and operational initiatives. Key Responsibilities Administer, operate, and optimize VMware virtualization environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, HA, DRS, resource allocation, virtual machine provisioning, and performance tuning. Manage and support Windows Server infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, clustering, and patch management to ensure system stability and availability. Administer Active Directory services, including user and group lifecycle management, OU structure design, Group Policy management, domain controllers, and authentication services. Manage and support the organization's Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and related security and configuration settings. Perform backup and recovery operations for both virtualized and physical systems, including routine monitoring and periodic recovery testing. Monitor system performance, capacity utilization, and service availability, and proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure issues. Diagnose and resolve server, storage, network, and application-related incidents, ensuring timely service restoration. Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls, including system hardening, access management, and patching in accordance with organizational standards. Plan, support, and execute infrastructure migration and upgrade activities, including domain controller migrations, system upgrades, and platform transitions. Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk. Manage and participate in incident, change, and problem management processes in accordance with ITIL best practices. Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects and operational initiatives. Ensure infrastructure services comply with organizational security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Provide end-user support, manage escalations, and guide junior team members as required. Requirements Minimum a Higher Diploma or Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or a closely related discipline. Minimum 7 years of work experience in the IT field, with at least 4 years of proven experience in system administration or infrastructure support roles, preferably in the banking sector.
