Job Title: GROUP FINANCIAL MANAGER ( 1 Position )

Role Purpose: The Group FM will report directly to the CFO and play a critical leadership role in driving the company's financial strategy, risk management, governance, and operational efficiency across all business units. Key Responsibilities Leading and managing all financial and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term growth objectives. Overseeing internal controls, compliance, audit processes, and regulatory reporting. Providing strategic financial insights to support high-level decision-making and long-term planning. Managing relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders. Leading ERP system implementation and training to streamline financial operations and reporting. Supervising accounting teams and promoting capacity building across the finance department Supporting commercial decision-making with cost-benefit analysis, pricing strategies, and margin optimization Ensuring timely tax submissions, statutory compliance, and efficient working capital management. Requirements A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting and internal audit within a dynamic commercial environment. Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role of a similar capacity, with demonstrated strategic influence and operational responsibility In-depth knowledge of IFRS, Botswana tax legislation, and financial reporting standards Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks Premier Accountant Edition 2020, Sage Payroll, and familiarity with Pastel Evolution Accounting Software. Demonstrated experience in implementing ERP systems and training finance staff on usage and compliance. A full qualification in BICA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent designation from a recognized professional body is essential. Possession of an MBA will be considered an added advantage.
