Three (3) year fixed term contract Key Responsibilities Conduct medical consultations, examinations, and assessments Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Prescribe medication and manage treatment plans. Provide preventive healthcare services (e.g., screenings, immunizations). Refer patients to specialists when necessary. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Maintain continuity of care and manage long-term conditions. Provide health education and lifestyle advice to patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records. Prepare medical reports, referrals, and prescriptions. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Adhere to ethical standards and medical regulations. Ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Stay updated with medical advancements and best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). Valid Registration with Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC) Minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience.
