To manage the development of guidelines for implementation of public education, outreach programmes and activities to prevent the illicit use and trafficking of Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic substances. Key Responsibilities Manages implementation of approved public education policies; provides professional guidance in formulation/execution of strategies; manages high-priority intervention programmes; coordinates programmes on dangers of drug abuse; advises stakeholders on prevention. Manages public education activities and initiatives; develops SOPs; contributes to policy/regulation review; manages programs for drug dependent persons; fosters public support; manages collection/dissemination of information and research processes. Enforces systematic tracking and reporting; evaluates effectiveness of activities and programs; integrates evaluation findings into broader operational strategies. Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree in Media studies or Public Relations, Communication or Journalism or equivalent. (Masters' degree is an added advantage). Experience: At least fourteen (14) years' working experience in communication, of which two (2) years should have been served at D1 salary scale in Government or equivalent.
