To provide strategic leadership, direction and coordination of the Public Education and Rehabilitation functions of the Agency in order to strengthen drug demand reduction, prevention programmes, treatment and rehabilitation services in line with the national drug control strategy. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and management of the Public Education and Rehabilitation Division. Develop and oversee implementation of national drug prevention, awareness and public education programmes. Coordinate with stakeholders for the development and implementation of treatment, rehabilitation and reintegration programmes for persons affected by drug use disorders. Strengthen partnerships with Government Ministries, civil society organisations, communities and international partners on drug demand reduction initiatives. Oversee research, policy development and monitoring of programmes related to prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. Provide technical advice to the Director General on matters relating to drug prevention, treatment and rehabilitation services. Ensure effective resource management and performance monitoring within the Division. Promote evidence-based interventions and adherence to international standards for drug use disorder treatment and rehabilitation. Requirements Education: Master's Degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Health Sciences, Public Administration, Criminology or a related field. Experience: A minimum of twelve (12) years relevant work experience in public health, social development, drug demand reduction, rehabilitation services or related field. At least five (5) years' experience at senior management (E1) level or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in programme development, policy implementation and stakeholder coordination.
