To provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Corporation's financial management through establishment of a financial strategy, effective financial planning, monitoring and risk management, enhancement of business controls and governance for long-term stability and growth. Key Responsibilities The position will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, standards and practices, as well as provide guidance in investment strategies and optimisation of the Corporation's capital structure. Additionally, the role will lead the structuring, mobilisation, and optimisation of large-scale capital across domestic and international markets, positioning the Corporation as a bankable, investment-grade utility capable of attracting institutional capital, development finance, and strategic investors. The Chief Financial Officer will play a central role in energy infrastructure financing across generation, transmission and distribution, including tariff modelling, financial sustainability frameworks, and long-term capital planning. Requirements ACCA/CIMA/CA and full membership of a professional body Additional qualifications in Finance, Investment Banking or Corporate Finance (CFA, MBA Finance or equivalent) are required Minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience in a large commercial setting Proven experience in statutory reporting Extensive Capital Markets & Investment Banking experience Track record in capital-intensive energy infrastructure projects (debt/equity structuring) Experience raising financing from DFIs, ECAs, commercial banks, and capital markets Experience in developing bankable power project financial models and tariff frameworks Experience leading and managing a large Finance Division, including procurement at strategic level Experience engaging regulators, lenders, government, and investors Experience in financial restructuring or transformation programmes (advantageous) Understanding of internal and external controls and audits Financial Management Reporting Public Reporting Leadership & Governance Commercial Orientation Strategy Orientation How to Apply Interested candidates should apply through the link below and attach:
