• Research Scientist for a 12-month temporary assignment based in Stein (AG).

Your Responsibilities

Within a dynamic and multicultural research team, you will contribute to the development and application of molecular biology techniques in an innovative R&D environment.

Your main tasks will include:

Developing and applying molecular tools for:

tracking molecular markers in planta

product QC and microbial tracking

Performing and optimizing bioassays and molecular/microbiology-based assays

Supporting plant trials with microbial-based products and biostimulants

Planning and executing scientific experiments

Collecting, processing, and organizing samples (including for external CRO analyses)

Analyzing, interpreting, and presenting experimental data

Writing scientific reports and communicating results in English

Drafting detailed experimental protocols to ensure reproducibility

Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting deviations or errors

Providing technical support to laboratory teams

Your Profile

Master’s degree in Molecular Biology (minimum requirement)

Initial laboratory experience (minimum 6-month internship accepted)

Background in plant biology and/or microbiology is a plus

Hands-on wet lab experience is essential

Strong ability to plan and execute scientific experiments

Good data analysis and critical thinking skills

Fluent in English (written and spoken

Working hours: 42 hours/week
