On behalf of one of our clients, an international company based in Geneva, we are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team on a long term temporary assignment.

Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

Your role

Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable process within a structured and fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can quickly operate autonomously and handle high volumes efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of vendor invoices (processing, verification, and validation)

• Review and validate payment proposals and vendor balances

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

• Handle vendor queries and resolve payment or invoicing issues

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AP processes

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, ideally in Accounts Payable

• Strong accounting knowledge with high attention to detail

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, international environment

• Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset

• Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA

• Knowledge of Ariba and/or Concur is a strong asset
